Plagiarism Screening

All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Interventional Epidemiology and Public Health are subjected to internet aided and software enabled plagiarism checking. Internet aided plagiarism checking is done by the editors using open source tools like google. JIEPH also employs anti-plagiarism software and requires that articles have a less than 20% similarity score before they can be sent to peer reviewers.

Manuscripts with a higher than 20% similarity score are assessed by the JIEPH editors who may recommend revision or decline the submission.
